    Question

What would you say is the BEST motherboard for a socket-a 1.1GHz AMD Athlon Thunderbird. I really need some recommendations, so if you guys can respond to this ASAP that would be awesome.

From everything that I have read and seen, the Abit KT7A-RAID is probably the best board. Either that or the Iwill KK266-R.

Well, if you plan on overclocking, then I would probably have to say go with the Iwill KK266. I saw a review a da or two ago using the latest BIOS, and the memory scores beat out the KT7a score. The Abit is nice, but I've heard the the QC has gone down, and it sounds like you want one to work straight out of the box. If you dont want to overclock, or you want the a trusted name, Asus A7V133 is good, and, well, its Asus.
