It's a trolling phenomenon that occurs on Slashdot pretty frequently. It happened the other day when our Matrox interview got Slashdotted. Someone claiming to post a link to a mirror of our interview was actually posting a link to goatse.cx. Since HTML can have a description reading one thing and the link reading another, people frequently try to take advantage of the trust of a newbie reader in clicking on a link that you think goes one place but actually goes another.
To find out just what the horror is all about, type "goatse.cx" into your browser. Before you do, though, know that it is *VERY* disgusting and you should probably just skip this and move along as if it never happened. But if you do go there, it will DEFINITELY teach you twice before clicking on innocent looking links like this one to disney.com.

Terrible site.... I'll know better in the future.
The cookie monster keeps eating my cookies.
Whatever you did yesterday Dave, seemed to work
for a short while, then the cookie monster came back
again.
My people at the IT shop here on base are puzzled about
this also. They have an "expert" on forum's but he is
gone to school for 3 weeks. When he returns, we'll ask
him.

There is one more thing that I think may actually be the problem. I'm trying to work with the guys that developed the forum software to fix it...I'll keep you updated.

I believe the problem is fixed now! If you do get logged out, let me know, there is one other thing I can try.....but I really do think there shouldn't be a problem now!

I'm happy to hear that from you, rstarr, but unfortunately, an hour after Dave posted this, he himself lost his cookie. So it's not fixed yet...
