HUH??!!

Why ? is SL will be divide in many section ? like the old gamer alliance (GA-) web site ?

The general reasoning is that www.systemlogic.com is a huge iternational company. It's not like we could buy the name. Amongst the web-savvy, or those with good memorys, www.systemlogic.net is easy to remember...but many forget and go to www.systemlogic.com instead. Anything *.com is easier to remember for the general public (unfortunetly)...there are other reasons too....hopefully you'll be seeing those developments at some point too

It's just that the two are easy to mix up at this point, despite the fact that the two are totally different (which is why people are like "um....systemlogic.com didn't have anything you said it would" even though we or others say .net....people forget ).

Oh yeah, all the old URLs will still work. That way we don't lose all our prior work at site recognition! So if someone links to http://www.systemlogic.net/articles/01/6/multithreading , it will still be the same article, even though it would reside at something along the lines of http://www.slcentral.com/articles.b.../blah/blah.blah

Paul is absolutely correct with his explanation.

That, and I don't want any legal trouble with SystemLogic (aka. systemlogic.com) in the future, even though there hasn't been anything yet.

SLCentral.com switch will be made fairly soon, and we will be discussing some of the details in a staff meeting Monday night. I will relay some of the information back to you guys (our readers) afterwards.
