Scroll down to the bottom of the front page
We decided to change it a little bit, just to see how it works out. We have some new content (Mwaaaaaahhahahha!) comming up soon, and want people to be able to see that right away when loading the page without having to scroll down (yes, we realize that there are lazy people out there...lazy like me, who don't always scroll down ).
It's still there, just at the bottom now. If a lot of people want it back at the top, ....well, the readers are (usually) right.

Another option is to click the "View new posts" button on the upper right of the main page of the forums. I actually like that one a lot more than the one on the front page, because a lot of times, there will be more than 5 posts since my last visit, and so I'll miss some people's posts. By pressing the view new posts button, I see 'em all
If we get a strong vibe that people want it back at the top, then, well, we listen to our readers
