That's a definite possibility. Let me look more into what it will take to do this.

I've been suuuppppeerrr busy with finals and all final projects and all that fun stuff...but on Tuesday they are over so I can concentrate on the site much more! This is when I will begin to look more into the PDA version of SLNews

I think that this is a great idea and you should really consider doing it. Check out Mazingo. It's free and easy to set up. The only thing that needs to be done on the back end is to create special pages off of the SLCentral website that is specially formatted for the PocketPC's display.

Hey guys, what kind of things would you be interested in having in the PDA version?
SLNews is a given, are there are any other things specifically that you would be more than interested in?
I'm thinking maybe a preview of our newly posted reviews and articles, but not the entire articles....
Any other requests?

That's easy; the more the better! I'll tell you what - I browse a lot of cached web pages from my PocketPC including sites that I normally wouldnt waste my time on. Not to say in the least that this is one of the sites but rather because they are there. If you are looking to bring in more visitors (and who isn't these days) I think that this is an easy way to do it.
Personally, I would love to read the news as well as reviews and comments. Also, please make sure to include pictures!
For example, take a look at the way Dave's iPAQ has formatted their page for download. Pretty easy stuff I would think, right?

Hmmm... good question. I would think the answer is yes but I am not 100% sure. The whole idea behind Mazingo is that it is an online magazine so I would think so. BTW - you can use the newly created SLC pages in both Avantgo as well as Mazingo so there is no reformatting involved but I think that Avantgo charges webmasters to use their service.

Take a look at this link . It has a setting for Graphics that you can set on your Palm. It doesnt answer your question fully but it implies that you can download graphics. The only way to really now for sure is to have a Palm user try it out.
