Official Medal Of Honor Demo
Everyone has heard the story of the single player demo of Medal of Honor: Allied Assault. A few days ago, an early copy was released onto the Internet and numerous gaming sites snapped it up to mirror the file. The problem was that it wasn't supposed to be available until it was included on CD-ROM with the February issue of Computer Gaming World. Electronic Arts, the publisher, sent requests out to the aforementioned gaming sites requesting that it be removed until the official release. They all complied, and almost no harm was done.
Now, three days before the planned Internet release of the single player demo on January 8th, EA has made it available. Mirrors are up at Blue's News, FilePlanet, and 3D Gamers. They're being hit hard, so you'll probably have some waiting ahead of you if you can manage to get a hold of a server at all in the next 24 hours.
The multiplayer demo already caused quite a stir in the community when it was released in the middle of December, which caused the mad rush for the single player counterpart. Hopefully a review of the game will be published on SLCentral after the game is released later this month.
