The financial woes for game publisher Interplay continue today with a notice stating that they have 90 days to become more active on the Nasdaq or they will become unlisted. For the past 30 days, according to the press release, Interplay's stock has not maintained a market value of $15,000,000 or a bid price of $3.00 per share, both minimums of the Nasdaq. On May 15th, the final judgment will be made.

As far as gamers are concerned, we can only hope that this does not result in more projects put on hold or canceled. Icewind Dale II is coming down the pipeline and we'd all hate to see that be thrown out of whack as Star Trek: Secret of Vulcan Fury was. Their recently new CEO, Herve Caen, has a lot on his hands after former CEO, Brian Fargo, resigned from his position in late January of this year.

There was no trading on the Nasdaq today due to the obervance of President's Day.
