The giant PC software publisher, Sierra On-Line, has officially changed its name to Sierra Entertainment in order to reflect its broader focus.

Sierra Entertainment is based in Bellevue, Washington, just a few miles south of where I work for SLCentral. Their parent company is Vivendi Universal of France, whose other properties include Universal Interactive and Blizzard Entertainment. They have been publishing games for 22 years now, including some of the best ever. Half-Life, the Tribes series, and the NASCAR Racing series are among them.
