Default Dragon Throne: The Battle Of Red Cliffs

Today Strategy First and Object Software announced Dragon Throne: The Battle of Red Cliffs, scheduled to be released in the early part of the second quarter of this year.

Object Software is known for their previous work on Fate of the Dragon, and this real-time strategy game takes place after the fall of the Chinese empire. Following the Han Dynasty, China was divided into three kingdoms: Shu, Wei, and Wu. This span of 100 years is still talked about today, and the developers are highlighting a key battle. Below are some of the features of the title:

    • Warriors can choose from more than 40 skills.

    • Multi-map system where two map windows separate the battlefield from city development.

    • All 3D graphics and animations are rendered and modeled according to Chinese history.

    • Profession-Transference system enables a laborer to be trained as a sergeant and then revert to a laborer again.

    • Tech-tree is composed of some 100 items of technology extracted directly from the social reality of the Three Kingdoms period.

Screenshots, a list of the system requirements, and more can be found at the official site.
