AMD in the news.....
AMD has been a bit busier than they have been in recent weeks, announcing a new chip, and that they plan on shipping their die-shrunken Athlon XP's by the end of the month.

As for the smaller/faster/cooler Athlon XPs on the horizon, AMD says their .13 micron chips should start shipping out to customers by the end of the month. Read their AMD's Press Release
