Aberdeen analysts slam AMD's PR rating
Sleight-of-hand on Intel's part to attack rival? Possibly...
Seen over at HardOCP, a market analyst company known as the Aberdeen Group has published a scathing whitepaper criticizing AMD for misleading customers over its processor rating scheme. Regardless of the factual inaccuracy of Aberdeen's conclusions, both The Inquirer and ZDNet have begun reporting that Intel may have been behind the report, paying off Aberdeen to smear AMD's name.
If these allegations are true, there will no doubt be lawsuits flying shortly...
