Putting a Gag on a Chicken: Adventures in installing a BayBus switch
Control your computer fan noise with this easy solution.
Jim has put together an article on how to go about installing a BayBus, and it's also a review of the PCMods BayBus. This is a great item for anyone who has a case loaded down with fans, and has the need to control noise produced from the fans. It's affordable, it's easy to install, it gives you control over four fans with a simple flick of the switch, and it has nifty LED's that look cool on the front of your case (that makes the whole thing worth while).

I'm big on air-cooling, proper air cooling can (and will) deliver almost as high performance as liquid cooling with about a gazillion (scientific term) less hassles, granted if you want all out to the bleeding edge performance liquid cooling is your choice, just not for me. One of the "problems" with high performance air cooling is the noise, even I admit it can get a bit loud, but a lot of the time you don't really need all that cooling capacity. Enter the fan BayBus.
