Can anyone post the exact version of the driver? Is it 5.12.01.0244 or newer?? Also is there any word of a new Audigy driver?

I have a Soundblaster Live! 5.1 Platinum Card that was working flawlessly for 3 years using both Windows '98 for 1 year and Windows XP for the past two years. Due to other problems on my computer I was forced to format my entire harddrive and reinstall Windows XP. I need to reinstall drivers for the soundcard and now, I am unable to install functioning drivers for the Soundblaster card. The only two drivers listed on the page are:
SBLW-XPPAT-W1-US
SBLW-XPWEB-W4-US
If I try to install either driver it is unable to do it and freezes. The first driver listed there says I require the:
SBLW-XPWEB-W3-US
driver to install the current driver. Is this the problem? If so where can I get this driver from now that it isn't on/supported by the Creative website?
Thank you very much

You may want to try out YouP-Pax drivers. He is to SoundBaster as Omega is to ATI.
Setting them up may take some time but if you have the English install they work great. I have my Audigy 2 converted to a ZS.
Check out DriverHeaven for more info. If you are going to try them read the thread thoroughly.

Soundblaster Drivers
Creative Labs dose not support the old Soundblaster 5.1 any longer, so your answer to the other guy's questions was Irrelavant. We are still looking for the drivers, I myself tried downloading the patch and after installing this patch, it tells me that there is no sound card detected on my computer. Maybe it works for you card but not with mine.
