    Default error w/ programs

    i got an error today for aol this has happened for a bunch of programs but with dii registers now im fed up:

    WAOL caused an invalid page fault in
    module <unknown> at 0000:b00dc240.
    Registers:

    What Does This Mean, how can i fix and what did i do to cause this / how can i not do it again?????

    it looks to me like a bad DLL, perhaps reinstall AOL after a complete uninstall, remove everything including any AOL folder that is left after uninstalling, THEN reinstall the newest version of AOL. If that doesn't help try calling AOL, they actually have really really good tech phone support, I was on the phone with a really nice dude for like an hour and half once, just be nice to them and they are really nice and helpful to you.

    I think that when you reinstall AOL you can re-input all your screen name info and stuff, but as for favorites and things I don't know. I would hope that AOL would ask if you want to save your settings when you uninstall. Can give it a try and hope for the best. I remember screwing around with AOL a lot and I never really lost anything that was important to me. Buddy lists and email and such are saved on AOL servers so you won't lose anything like that.

    h/o this happened with blood omen 2 and i did a full uninstall and a full reinstall whats up with that?
