    Question

Alright I just put the 2 OS's on one hard drive, partitioned into C:\ and D:\. Now when I start my comp up I have these two options:

    Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional Edition
    Microsoft Windows

How can I change the name of Microsoft Windows to Microsoft Windows Millenium Edition?

I thought it would be in boot.ini in Win2K but I did run boot.ini and there's no file.....I think I'm missing something here, anybody got an idea?

    Thumbs up

Boot.ini is hidden by Win2k & it does not give access to it.
Hence open command prompt & got to c:
is the prompt should look like this
    c:\

    Now type following command--

    attrib -s -r -h boot.int

And edit the file as you want, again change the attributes

    attrib +s +r +h boot.ini

    Happy!!!
