Firefox offers almost all of the compatibility of IE with no popups, fast page browsing, and various other enchancements.

Lot slimmer (Firefox), no mail client, bugzilla, messenger etc. Just what I need, a browser.

Personally I'd like to get firefox and thunderbird in an integrated package (yeah yeah, it's called mozilla). But for me, I want both tools -- as-is, but without the duplication of the gecko engine. Hell, throw in nvu as-is and I'll be happy -- but, with only one instance of the gecko engine.
That's my main problem. I prefer the default interfaces of the seperate components, but would much rather have only one rendering engine installed and running at a time....(not that the memory is really a problem, but still).

I totally agree. Although the two seem to mesh well as it is, they still don't interact as well as Mozilla does, but Mozilla is bloated in comparison and doesn't run as well as Firefox and Thunderbird together.

I have tried Netscape and it keeps giving some problems. So, I keep using my favorite web browser, Opera, which works fine most of the time. Firefox is another good tool.
