    Question

I've heard from about 3 or 4 different sources that ATA100 for IDE hard drives won't work yet on systems using Windows 2000, so I have no reason to doubt that it's true.

I know 100MB/sec is not really realistic yet anyway, but has anyone heard if MS has fixed this "problem" yet?

Man, I woke up this morning convinced I wouldn't learn anything new! Great info there InTheWayBoy. Is this limitation present in Win ME?

As far as I know ATA100 support is fully integrated in Win9x, as long as you install the correct drivers (VIA 4-In-1 or RAID Controller Drivers). You shouldn't have any problems...but I personally don't see that much of a difference. I'm using Win2000 with ATA66 and that's enough for me NERO!
