| Bottom Line: LucasArts' trust in Raven was well placed, as they've made a great game with good replayability. It could have used some polish, though. |

Rating Breakdown
Story: 8.0
The story, while compelling on the whole, is rather trite and predictable in its parts. Good integration with past Dark Forces storylines.
Graphics & Sound: 8.5
Ships and arenas are very detailed. Good combination of indoor and outdoor areas. And it's the same ol' John Williams music.
Gameplay: 9.5
A whole host of weaponry and force powers at your disposal make for a wide variety of defenses. There's a good amount to do, and plenty of ways to do it.
Fun Factor: 9.0
Using Force Grip or Force Push to toss stormtroopers into a chasm is a blast.
Multiplayer: 9.0
A good variety of options that will only get better over time as mod authors have their way with it. Publicly released server code means anyone can run a Jedi Outcast server.
Lasting Appeal: 8.5
Thanks to the use of the Q3 engine and Raven's know-how, the longevity of this game can be boosted significantly by mod authors.
Final Score: 8.5
