| Bottom Line: The Fellowes screen protectors are not without their faults, but they're a good, cheap investment that can save you a lot of money on a screen replacement. |

Installation
For $20 each, you get 12 screen covers and an application kit. Let's not fool ourselves - The installation of the screen cover doesn't require a full-blown kit, but the included kit doesn't really make it any easier either. You get a small curved piece of cardboard with the kit which is supposed to help you "squeegee" the screen onto your PDA while helping you shove out those pesky air bubbles. For the most part, it worked fine, but it didn't take much force to bend the little cardboard shim. As an added plus, you only get one, so if you break it or lose it, you're out of luck. I keep it packed in the envelope the screen protectors originally came in, but I'm still at a loss to figure out where I should keep *those*.

The instructions advise you to avoid touching the back of the protectors to keep the adhesive from picking up particles and dirt from your hands. I did this as best as I possibly could, but it was just a royal pain to try to separate the protectors from the backing material without touching them. Perhaps if there were a removeable pull tab or something in the sheets, that might help. Once you actually get the screen protector to catch on your PDA, you use the squeegee to pull it from the backing and onto the PDA, not unlike attaching a bandage.
One note to make here - Since Fellowes doesn't make a protector for the HandEra, I actually had to modify my screen protectors to fit. An X-acto knife and a few seconds fixed this little problem for me, as well as removing Fellowes' small plug-line at the bottom. The screen width is just a hair too wide, but I prefer it that way, since it makes removal easier. I still have full range of writing capability on the HandEra. The m100 protectors were an almost exact fit to the Kyocera phone...which is rather peculiar considering that Fellowes sells a model specifically for this phone.
