Enemy Territory has a great gameplay style. There are so many different things to do that you will discover something new every time you play. There are such things as running, and sprinting. Holding down sprint will make you run very fast, but if you hold it for too long your stamina will run out and you will have to rest for a little or just run at a slower pace.

The voice chat is very good for those of you who do not use teamspeak. You can simply press “V” and then choose a category of commands, statements, etc. This will help you call for some health, request backup, call for ammo, and even thank that medic who just risked his butt to revive you.

Other great features that makes Enemy Territory’s gameplay great are the little things such as the ammo flying out of your gun and hitting the dirt, or the satisfying noise your knife makes when it slices through your opponents back.

The producers SplashDamage have also made the game hard by making you have to hit your opponent a large number of times before they get wounded, also you have to shoot them some more until they cant be revived (so I suggest aiming for the head). This moves away from the more realistic two hit kill but gives you a lot better firefights to engage in. Good news for all of you trigger happy freaks out there!

Another cool little feature is the stats at the end of the game and rewards. Rewards consist of best medic, best engineer, highest accuracy, etc. Some of these will earn you medals.

There is one bad thing about the game, the spawn timer, which is usually 30 seconds and sometimes 20 seconds. So if you were to die and not request for a medic, you would have to wait anywhere from 1-30 seconds before you can actually play again. So if you are not patient you might not like this game.
