    Performance

    System Settings
Processor Dual Celeron 366@523 (95MHz FSB) with 2 Globalwin FEP32's
    Motherboard Abit BP6
RAM 256 MB RAM (128 PC133 From Memman)
Sound Card Sound Blaster Live! Value
    Hard Drive/s 30 GB IBM 75GXP 7200 RPM ATA/100
    13 GB IBM 22GXP 7200 RPM ATA/66
Video Card VisionTek GeForce2 GTS 32 MB DDR
    Operating System Windows 2000 Professional

As you can see, I have a lot of stuff in this case, and the 400W power supply really helps out here, although the 300W one is also acceptable. The performance measure I use here is CPU and case temperature. To measure this in Windows 2000, I use Motherboard Monitor 5 to read the onboard temperature sensors on the BP6. To summarize my testing, I basically measured the idle temperature when I was doing nothing in Windows, and then measured the temperature when the system was under stress. Keep in mind that I am overclocking both my CPUs here. The 2 FEP32s I have cooling the CPUs have proven to have decent performance, but I have always been looking for increased cooling. In addition, 2 7200 RPM hard drives I have in there heat up really fast. The following temperature readings were taken after the system had been idle, under average use, and under stressful conditions. By average use, I mean just surfing the web, listening to MP3s and such. The stress test involved some Quake 3 Arena, Prime 95, RC5, and a few other things in the background.

As you can see from the temperatures, the SX1030 does offer a little cooling boost compared to the Inwin Q500. In addition, the Inwin temperatures were actually taken with the side cover off. The two exhaust fans beside the CPUs really move the air more efficiently in the Antec case. The Inwin case had the two fans above the power supply, and none really near the CPUs, which probably accounted for the increased temperatures. Despite these high temperatures, I haven't had any stability problems at 523 (95MHz FSB) for about a year now. The 2 Celerons can run at 550, but it's not as stable. These temps were taken in the same night, so the ambient room temperature was pretty much the same for both. I waited about half an hour for the temps to stabilize.
