    Introduction

When PDAs first arrived on the scene, they were pretty much just used to keep track of contact lists, appointments, memos, and things of that nature. That role has evolved and branched out into many different areas. The current crop of PDAs have a wider range of capabilities compared to their predecessors. In particular, the Handspring Visor handhelds take the traditional PDA platform to the next level by adding the Springboard expansion slot to turn your Visor into a variety of different devices. The eyemodule2 is the predecessor to the original eyemodule that brought image capture capability to the Visor. The eyemodule2 boasts a few new features and improvements over the original. Not only can you take full color pictures with the eyemodule2, but you can now also take short Mini-Movies as well. A useful software package is also included to make the most out of your camera. IDEO was kind enough to send us a unit to use in this review. For a retail price of $199.95, is the eyemodule2 useful enough to warrant the high price? Let's take a look...
