    Pros

The eyemodule2 has a lot of good things going for it. You have the ability to take pictures easily with your Visor. Not only that but you can also record Mini-Movies. The on screen Viewfinder makes using the eyemodule2 very easy. You can easily switch between modes and browse through pictures you've already taken. The software on the Visor lets you rename, categorize, and attach notes to images and Mini-Movies, as well as beam them to other Visor owners. The lens on the eyemodule2 is angled so that you don't have to hold the Visor completely horizontal. This makes it more comfortable when using the eyemodule2. You can also set a timer to take single or multiple pictures in a row. The module itself is very compact and doesn't add much weight to the Visor. The software package that comes with the eyemodule2 is pretty good. Eyecontact lets you add images of people to your contact list so you'll always remember who those people are. It's very convenient to have. The Photo Club application suite lets you organize your images into albums and even store them on your Visor handheld.

    Cons

Even though the eyemodule2 is a decent product, it does have its limitations. A maximum resolution of 640x480 is one of them. 640x480 is ok, but it's pretty low by today's standards. Conventional digital cameras out there have resolutions of 2400x1800 and above. However, you can't really expect much since the eyemodule2 is only a Springboard module. The quality of the images is also pretty low. Unless your lighting and distance is perfect and you don't move the Visor while you're taking the picture, it's very hard to get a good quality picture. The lack of a flash really limits your pictures to those with good lighting. You can always adjust the brightness, but that also has it's limitations. The black and white movies I took on my Platinum are very hard to see. I hope the color movies you can make with the Prism offer better image quality. Since the eyemodule2 uses the Visor's own internal memory to store pictures, you are limited only to how much memory you have free. It would have been nice to include some memory on the eyemodule2 itself or at least have a Compact Flash or SmartMedia card interface. That probably would have increased the size and cost of the module though, so it might not be cost effective.
