Compatible Motherboards

There are a LOT of motherboards available today that utilize USB headers, unfortunately, older motherboards (Pentium II and under) and really economy motherboards might not have it. It would be wise to crack open your case and try to locate a header before running out to buy this. But it would be wiser to go here and check their motherboard list to make sure yours is compatible. I've found it very amusing that most Antec motherboards don't support this product

Usage

As far as I can tell, there is no difference between my 2 new USB ports and my other USB ports, they run the same, they feel the same, and they are probably the same speed. But obviously I utilize the front ones more for my mp3 player and the like. It's great having easy access to USB ports whenever you need it. It's been working great and requires no additional power.
